Terms and Conditions

Effective 9 October 2026 (version 17). German law applies. These terms are written in English because the website, the registration form and both confirmation emails are in English, and the contract is concluded in English.

1. Scope and parties

The operator of the Ski Saturdays programme is Melanie Barendregt-Glover, trading as Glover Skiing (referred to in these terms as "Glover Skiing" or "we").

These terms govern participation in the Ski Saturdays programme for the 2026-27 season. The other party to the contract is the person who submits the registration form, referred to here as the registering parent, on behalf of every participant named in that registration.

2. How a contract comes into existence

Submitting the registration form is an offer to take part. It is not a booking and it creates no contract.

The email you receive immediately after submitting acknowledges receipt of your offer only. It says so explicitly. It is not an acceptance and it does not reserve a place.

The contract is concluded only when Glover Skiing sends a separate confirmation, after your bank transfer has arrived. Until that confirmation is sent, no place is reserved and neither side is under any obligation.

3. Services included

The fee covers all 6 Ski Saturdays of the 2026-27 season, on the dates published on the season section of the home page:

  • 9.01.2027
  • 16.01.2027
  • 23.01.2027
  • 30.01.2027
  • 27.02.2027
  • 6.03.2027
  • Full-day instruction (09:00 – 15:00) is provided in English, for all ages and ability levels. Instruction is divided into the following groups:
    • Junior School (ages 5–10)
    • Middle School (ages 11–13)
    • Senior School (ages 14–18)
    • Adult
  • Allocation to a group by age and ability. Adults in instructional groups are accompanied by their instructor during lessons; participants under 18 are also supervised throughout the day, including at lunch and on the buses. Group sizes: 5–9 participants.
  • Return coach transport from the chosen pickup stop, for the packages that include it: Lessons + Bus and Bus Only.

Participants under 18 are supervised throughout the day, in restaurants, on the slopes and on the buses. Lessons conclude at 15:00, with buses departing promptly at 15:45.

4. Not included in the fee

Ski passes are not included in the registration fee and must be purchased each Saturday. We collect passes in advance and distribute them on the bus. For those traveling by car, we offer convenient pickup options.

Estimated Prices (per day): Children €32 · Youth (16–18) €50 · Adults €60

Final ski pass prices can be subject to changes and will be communicated in the detailed information letter during the Christmas Vacation.

Participants may either bring a packed lunch or purchase a hot meal at a mountain restaurant. Lunch breaks are one hour and supervised by instructors. Typical restaurant meal prices range from €18–€20.

Personal insurance is not included in the fee. The insurance requirement that applies to every participant is set out in section 8 (Participation requirements).

5. Prices and payment

Prices include 19% VAT.

  • First Family Member (Lessons + Bus) — 740 €
  • Second Family Member (Lessons + Bus) — 690 €
  • Third & Additional Family Members (Lessons + Bus) — 650 €
  • Bus Only (Adults Only) — 390 €
  • Lessons Only (All Ages) — 560 €

Family discounts apply only to direct family members and only to the full Lessons + Bus package. The Bus Only and Lessons Only prices are fixed: they do not receive a family discount, and they do not affect the price of any other family member.

Registration is for the full 6-week program.

For late registrations beyond November 20th, an additional €50 surcharge will be applied for each participant, depending on group and bus availability.

Payment is by bank transfer only. No card payment is offered and no payment is taken on this website.

Every transfer must quote the payment reference generated for your registration and shown on your confirmation page and in your acknowledgement email. Without it the transfer cannot be matched to your offer.

Registration deadlines:

  • Standard registration: forms submitted up to 20 November 2026, 23:59 are charged the prices above.
  • Late registration: forms submitted after 20 November 2026, 23:59, up to 1 January 2027, 23:59, are charged the prices above plus a surcharge of €50 per participant.
  • No registrations are accepted after 1 January 2027, 23:59.

The surcharge depends only on the date the registration is submitted, not on the date of payment.

Late registrations are accepted depending on group and bus availability: a place in the requested group and, where the package includes the bus, a seat on the bus. If no place is available, we will tell you, and any payment already made is refunded in full.

Payment is due within 8 days of the date on which you submit the registration form. The acknowledgement email you receive states the exact date. If payment has not been received by then, we will send one reminder email and extend the payment deadline by 2 days. If payment has still not been received at the end of that extension, the registration is cancelled, and the place is released.

6. Cancellation and refunds

  • Full refund for cancellations received before December 4th, 2026.
  • 50% refund for cancellations received from December 4th, 2026 up to and including January 1st, 2027.
  • No refund is available for cancellations after January 1st, 2027.
  • In the case of injury during the season: 50% pro-rata refund (with a doctor's note).

Cancellations must be made in writing to contact@gloverskiing.com. The date on which the message is received governs which of the terms above applies. All dates are Europe/Berlin calendar days.

7. Right of withdrawal

The programme consists of leisure services provided on specific, named dates. Under §312g Abs. 2 Nr. 9 BGB, contracts for such services are excluded from the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts. The cancellation and refund terms in section 6 apply instead. Those terms give you a full refund before 4 December 2026, a 50% refund up to and including 1 January 2027, and a 50% pro-rata refund in the case of injury during the season with a doctor's note.

8. Participation requirements

All participants must have travel health insurance valid in Austria. In addition, while all instructors are covered by liability insurance, participants must also have their own third-party liability coverage. For this, we recommend the DSV (Deutscher Skiverband) Family Policy, which also covers theft and damage. This can be purchased online or at most sport retailers. Please confirm your individual insurance coverage before participating.

Adults may choose to join an instructional group or ski independently. All students under 18 are required to participate in group instruction.

Adults who ski independently are not supervised by us in the ski resort. For them, our services are limited to the coach transport at the beginning and end of the day, where booked. In the ski resort they are responsible for their own conduct, their equipment and their own safety, including accidents that are not caused by a breach of our duties. This does not affect our liability for breach of our own duties.

Off-piste skiing. We do not condone off-piste skiing. Skiing away from the marked and open pistes is a personal decision, taken at the skier's own risk. We are not responsible or liable for anyone who skis off-piste, or for the consequences, including the costs of rescue and recovery. This does not affect our liability for breach of our own duties, or the liability that cannot be limited under section 10 (b).

Allergies, medical conditions and medication. The registering parent must tell us before the first Ski Saturday about any allergy, medical condition or medication of a participant that may matter for their safety during the day, and how they would like us to handle it, including what to do in an emergency. Please send this by email to contact@gloverskiing.com and confirm in that email that we may share the information with the instructors and supervisors responsible for the participant. We share it only with them, and only as far as they need it. Participants who need emergency medication, such as an adrenaline auto-injector or an inhaler, must carry it with them on every Ski Saturday. We do not monitor what participants eat, and we cannot guarantee that food from restaurants is free of allergens. If we have not been told, we cannot take a condition into account.

Because every participant under 18 takes part in group instruction, a participant under 18 cannot be registered for a bus-only package.

Instructors may move a participant to a different group where ability or safety requires it.

9. Changes by the operator

A diverse selection of resorts has been chosen based on travel time and slope suitability for each group. Resort selection may change depending on snow and weather conditions, and each location is reviewed in advance of the trip.

In the rare case of poor snow conditions, a replacement date will be scheduled on March 13th, 2027.

Final ski pass prices can be subject to changes and will be communicated in the detailed information letter during the Christmas Vacation.

10. Liability

  • a)Inherent risk. Snow sports carry an inherent risk of injury that cannot be eliminated by instruction or supervision. Falls, collisions, variable snow and weather, and the conduct of other people on the mountain are part of that risk. By taking part you accept the risks inherent in the activity. This does not affect liability for breach of our own duties.
  • b)Liability that cannot be limited. Nothing in these terms limits liability for injury to life, body or health, for intent or gross negligence, or under mandatory statutory provisions.
  • c)Instruction providers. Instruction is delivered by qualified instructors from the ski schools named on this website, engaged by us for that purpose. Those ski schools and their instructors carry their own professional liability insurance and remain separately liable for their own conduct. This operates alongside our responsibility to you under these terms and does not replace or limit it; you do not need to pursue a claim against a ski school before raising it with us.
  • d)Coach transport. Coach transport is provided by licensed coach companies engaged by us. They carry the statutory motor vehicle liability insurance and remain separately liable for their own conduct. This operates alongside our responsibility to you under these terms and does not replace or limit it; you do not need to pursue a claim against a coach company before raising it with us.
  • e)Other damage. For property and financial loss not falling under (b), liability is limited to breach of a material contractual obligation, and then to the foreseeable damage typical of this type of contract.
  • f)Equipment. Each participant is responsible for the condition and suitability of their own equipment, in particular functioning safety bindings. Every participant must wear a helmet while skiing, and we strongly recommend a back protector.
  • g)Third-party services. Lift companies, mountain restaurants and other independent providers used during the day are separately liable for their own services. This does not affect our responsibility for the services we provide.
  • h)Personal property. We are not liable for theft or loss of personal property, including equipment left unattended at lifts or restaurants.
  • i)Circumstances beyond control. We are not liable for failures caused by war, civil unrest, terrorism, strikes, official measures, or natural events such as storms, avalanches or exceptional weather.
  • j)Costs of illness and injury. The costs of medical treatment, mountain rescue and transport home following illness or injury that is not caused by a breach of our duties are borne by the participant or their insurance. Glover Skiing does not check participants' insurance cover; the confirmation given on the registration form is relied upon.

11. Photography

Consent to photographs and video is asked separately for each participant. It is optional, it can be withdrawn at any time by emailing contact@gloverskiing.com, and refusing it has no effect on participation or on group allocation.

Full details are in the Datenschutzerklärung.

12. Governing law

German law applies.

Statutory consumer rights are unaffected by these terms.

13. Severability

If any provision of these terms is or becomes invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force. The invalid provision is replaced by the applicable statutory rule.
