Who We Are
Ski Saturdays was founded more than 40 years ago by Dan and Sherine Glover as part of the Munich International School community. Since last year, the program has been taken over by Melanie Barendregt-Glover. Melanie has over 8 years of experience as an MIS Ski Team coach, and has been involved in many other forms of ski instruction beyond as well.
Over the last 40 years, our program has helped countless families take advantage of Munich’s close proximity to the Alps, learn to ski with confidence, and grow into enthusiastic skiers. Along the way, it has also brought people together, building friendships and connections that last well beyond the slopes.
From January to March, we visit six different local ski areas, all within a 1.5 hour drive of MIS.
